Who We Are

Norcare was set up in 1984 in response to a call from The Probation Service that offenders released from prison were ending up on the streets and were subsequently at risk of re-offending.

Since then Norcare has expanded to provide housing support and a whole range of other services for some of the most vulnerable groups of society including those suffering alcohol or drug addiction, those with mental health issues and victims of domestic violence.

We recognise that many of these issues are interlinked and Norcare has become a lifeline for a whole range of people in need.

The experience, expertise and commitment of our staff have helped Norcare develop into an organisation that is both caring and innovative in its approach.

Norcare has four times been voted one of the ‘Best Small Companies to Work For’ in the Sunday Times list, and we are continuing to work to make sure Norcare is a better place to be for our staff as well as our clients.
