Northumberland Accommodation Project
We provide support services to men and women aged 16 and over who have offended or are at risk of offending and live within the Northumberland area. We work in partnership with a number of housing providers to offer a total of 15 units of accommodation and we work with our clients to help them maintain their tenancy with us. We also engage with other agencies including The Probation Service and drug and alcohol agencies to ensure clients have the full support they need. Norcare works with all clients to develop a support programme lasting between six and 24 months - providing personalised support and advice and helping the client access education, health and wellbeing support, and counselling services. Referrals are received from The Probation Service as well as prison, drug and alcohol services.
