Norcare Achieves Star Status in New National Accreditation Scheme

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay was on hand to award Norcare two stars in a newly launched national awards scheme for outstanding workplaces in 2006.

The Best Companies Accreditation programme has been created to recognise organisational excellence in the workplace and follows a three tiered star system with one star being deemed as very good and three stars exceptional. Norcare is one of only 80 companies across the whole of the UK to be given this elite two star status.

To celebrate Norcare's achievement and to launch the new awards standard, Norcare were invited to attend an exclusive event in the Berkley Hotel in London. Leading chef and well known celebrity, Gordon Ramsay, recalled his journey to achieving the coveted Michelin Three Star status for restaurants.

This new award follows Norcare's recent success as being ranked in the Top 100 Best Small Companies to work for and again shows the standards that Norcare, as an organisation, has achieved.

Director of Business management Paula Breen was on hand to receive the award on behalf of Norcare and said "This is a tremendous achievement for Norcare and we are all very proud of our success. It is thanks to everyone within the organisation that we have done so well".
