Easter Cheer for Families Fleeing Domestic Violence

A local business has brought some Easter cheer to families fleeing domestic violence in Durham. Paula Breen was able to secure funds from "Total Business Group" to buy 50 Easter eggs for parents and children.

Rob Winter, managing director at Total Business Group, said: "We have worked as a supplier for Norcare for some time and believe that it's a very worthwhile charity."

He went on to say "Easter is a time where traditionally, families get together and celebrate. Many of the Families at the shelter didn't have anything special or exciting to look forward to over Easter, so we thought it would be a nice gesture to offer some Easter eggs to all the parents children and staff."

Its hard to say who was more pleased with the Easter eggs, the parents or the children but it was probably the staff!
