20th Anniversary Ball - A Huge Success
2004 saw the anniversary of two decades of Norcare's work providing practical solutions for people who are socially and economically excluded to improve the quality of their lives. To mark this milestone a series of events were organised throughout the year including a breakfast event, bowling night, a quiz night, a bus tour of Norcare services, a treasure hunt for staff and clients and a book launch. This sparkling event was sponsored by Watson Burton LLP law firm and brought together many of the region's businesses, authorities, our many funders and supporters to celebrate 20 years of Norcare's pioneering work throughout the North East and providing and opportunity to say thanks to the commitment of all those who have been involved.
All of the staff and guests got into the spirit of the evening and everyone looked absolutely wonderful. The evening comprised a three course meal followed by a live band and also included a raffle with some very generous prizes donated by a number of organisations. We were able to raise over £1200 toward client activities. Many of the staff shared their thanks and appreciation for the Ball and guests also contacted Norcare to say how much they enjoyed their evening.
